Are masks required on vacation?

The WHO (The World Health Organization), recommends wearing masks in public.
Several studies have shown that masks can form a barrier against potentially contagious droplets.
These droplets or aerosols, can be released when talking, coughing, sneezing, etc. and can spread easily when not wearing masks, causing possible contamination.
Maskerland therefore advises holidaymakers to purchase sufficient masks if a holiday is planned to the following countries:

1. Germany
2. Belgium
3. United Kingdom
4. France
5. Sweden
6. Austria
7. Greece
8. Hungary
9. Italy
10. Luxembourg
11. Malta
12. Poland
13. Portugal
14. Romania
15. Slovakia
16. Slovenia
17. Spain
18. Czech Republic
19. Turkey

Although mouth masks are not mandatory in some of the demonstrated countries, the use of masks is strongly recommended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Corona).
Please keep in mind that this list of countries is very fluid. Maskerland therefore advises to keep an eye on the laws and regulations regarding Corona measures in your holiday country on a weekly or daily basis to prevent any negative consequences, such as fines.

Which mask should I buy when I go on vacation?

When you go on holiday, we recommend purchasing our 3-layer nasal masks for non-medical use. If there is an obligation to wear a mouth mask in the country of arrival, this mask ensures that you are compliant with local laws and regulations. This can prevent you from getting a fine, in addition to knowing that you are protecting your environment, should you unexpectedly be an asymptomatic carrier of the Corona virus.

Our 3-layer mouth masks for non-medical use, is also the type of nasal mask that is recommended in public transport in the Netherlands and is more suitable for general use.
